Stacey Uffman Casso is an accomplished artist with a passion for capturing the beauty of Louisiana. At the age of 17, Stacey began honing her skills as a painter, by taking private lessons from renowned artist Larry Casso at Baton Rouge Fine Arts Academy in 1978-1979.
After graduating from high school, Stacey opened a picture framing shop in 1981, going into business with her mother, Lucille Uffman. Over the years, she has painted captivating original artworks featuring local Louisiana landscapes, vibrant flowers, and colorful regional birds. Her remarkable pieces have been sold all across the United States, gaining recognition and admiration from art enthusiasts everywhere.
In 2008, Stacey's talent was recognized when she became the designer for Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry Christmas ornaments. Additionally, in 2007, she became an official LSU licensee for LSU products, best known for her eye-catching Fleur de Lis design with the iconic LSU tiger.
For over 42 years, Stacey's Lagniappe Frame Shoppe has been an integral part of the Baton Rouge community, offering exceptional framing services. With unwavering dedication, Stacey personally handles the printing of her own art and that of other esteemed artists. Furthermore, she extends her artistic talents to create a wide range of gift products, incorporating her own magnificent artwork.
